On April 12 took place in Lavelanet - Pays d'Olmes - Ariège (French Pyrenees), the famous "Trail of Citadelles" in 4 categories: 20 kms, 40 kms, 70 kms, and Rando. Alvaro Rodriguez from MUND SOCKS racing mountain participated in the 40 kms. race achieved first place with a time of 4:16:10 and an average speed of 9.37 km / h. MUND SOCKS AT CROSS COUNTRY SKIING CASTILLA & LEON CHAMPIONSHIP
last February 22nd was celebrated in the ski area of San isidro (Leon) the 10 km Cross Country Skiing freestyle Championship of Castila & Leon. Munir Uali from Aranda de Duero (Burgos) participated in the Senior category obtaining the third position. Munir is sponsoring by MUND socks.
MUND SOCKS AT "VI MOUNTAIN RACE PEÑA MAYOR"
Last February 15 was the first race in Castilla & Leon organized by the Mountain Club Peña Torquilla. Raul Cámara, Pepe Santamaria and, Alvaro Rodriguez from the MUND SOCKS TEAM, arrived respectively at the second, third and fifth positions.
MUND AT THE SUMMIT OF ACONCAGUA
On Saturday, January 17th, mountaineers from Burgos "Club of mountaineers PRADOLUENGO" Ricardo Garcia (Visually Impaired), Pedro Arcededillo and Diego Pablo capped the summit of Aconcagua (6.962 ms). Ricardo suffers from a disability of 85% and, after this rise in Argentina made over the last year of the volcano's Ojos del Salado (6.934 ms) in Chile, has become the first visually impaired crown in the two highest peaks of South America. MUND CHAMPION BY TEAMS OF THE VII MOUNTAIN RACE JARAPALOS
On November 15 took place in the town of Malaga Alhaurin de la Torre the "VII Carrera de Montaña Jarapalos."
This time the MUND Team of Mountain Racing was represented by Pepe Santamaria, Manu Pastor, Alvaro Rodriguez and Raul House. Achieved first place in the ranking with equipment including record of the race.

MUND IN THE MADEIRE ISLAND ULTRATRAIL 2008
Last Sept. 20 was disputed the Madeira Island Ultratrail "on the Portuguese island of Madeira.
The team MUND racing mountain this time was represented by Eladio Lanta who participated in the testing of 100 km and which won first place in the category of veterans in the General classification with a time of 12:20:01, one hour less it thought by the Organization and with a 50% bounce.

On May 8, the Olympic fire reached the summit of Mount Everest, better known in China as Mount Qomolangma Feng-mother of the universe-of 8,848 meters above sea level.
Ren Ci Wang Mu, an ethnic Tibetan mountain 19 years, was the fifth and final baton in promotion and to receive the Olympic flame at the summit.

MUND SOCKS AT THE X RACE TRUCHILLAS-VIZCONDILLO
The past May 18thtook place the X Race Truchillas-Vizcondillo and, without fear to mistake to us, we can say that it has been hardest of all the editions, as almost the 40 retired corroborate. In other occasions bad weather had been the unquestionable protagonist of the test: rain, fog, snow, hail, wind, cold,… but this year the climatology has punished especially to runners and organization, turning the zone of the tip into a fog hell, snow, snow-drift with electric appliance and temperatures below the zero degrees. From March 28th till april 7th took place the "23 Marthon of Sands " in Morocco. MUND socks were present next to the Madrilenian Carlo Aguado who used during the days of the race model Cross Mountain. The results have been good, but there is not one that the sand restrains. LAST FEBRUARY 24TH THE 5TH RACE “PEÑA MAYOR” TOOK PLACE IN GUARDO, PALENCIA. 50 ATHLETES PARTICIPATED IN THE FIRST MOUNTAIN RACE OF THE SEASON. AFTER 2KMS OF FLAT TERRAIN THE RUNNERS FACED 6KMS OF HARD CLIMB TO THE PEÑA MAYOR PEAK (1.836M) OVER A VERY DIFFICULT, TECHNICAL SURFACE OF SHARP LIMESTONE. MANU PASTOR, OF MUND MOUNTAIN RACE TEAM WAS FIRST IN THE RACE. HIS TEAMMATES RAUL CAMARA AND PEPE SANTAMARIA PLACED SECOND AND FOURTH.
MUND SOCKS AT RACE "PIRENA 2008"
The well-known race PIRENA 2008 took place January 19 through February 2nd. Munir, a musher from Aranda de Duero, Burgos and sponsored by MUND Socks participated in the Skijoring category, placing 6th. Miner will participate again in the Spanish Championship in Baqueira Beret on March 8th and 9th.
MUND WITH PROJECT "SUDAMERICA A PEDAL"
"SUDAMERICA A PEDAL"is the project of a group of Ecuadorian cycling young people who consists of crossing approximately 6,000 km in bicycle, from Quito (Ecuador) to Mendoza (Argentina), crossing beaches, the Ecuadorian deserts, the Peruvian Andes, the Bolivian plateau and the colonial cities of the Argentine mountain range, during approximately four months (from January 2008).
