MUND SOCKS AT THE "MARTHON DES SABLES"
From March 28th till april 7th took place the "23 Marthon of Sands " in Morocco. MUND socks were present next to the Madrilenian Carlo Aguado who used during the days of the race model Cross Mountain. The results have been good, but there is not one that the sand restrains. It ends up putting in the feet, nobody knows how, in spite of taking gaiters. This edition has been specially hard by the heat, with days of 45 degrees. http://www.darbaroud.com/
MUND SOCKS AT "5TH RACE PEÑA MAYOR"
LAST FEBRUARY 24TH THE 5TH RACE “PEÑA MAYOR” TOOK PLACE IN GUARDO, PALENCIA. 50 ATHLETES PARTICIPATED IN THE FIRST MOUNTAIN RACE OF THE SEASON. AFTER 2KMS OF FLAT TERRAIN THE RUNNERS FACED 6KMS OF HARD CLIMB TO THE PEÑA MAYOR PEAK (1.836M) OVER A VERY DIFFICULT, TECHNICAL SURFACE OF SHARP LIMESTONE. MANU PASTOR, OF MUND MOUNTAIN RACE TEAM WAS FIRST IN THE RACE. HIS TEAMMATES RAUL CAMARA AND PEPE SANTAMARIA PLACED SECOND AND FOURTH.
MUND SOCKS AT RACE "PIRENA 2008"
The well-known race PIRENA 2008 took place January 19 through February 2nd. Munir, a musher from Aranda de Duero, Burgos and sponsored by MUND Socks participated in the Skijoring category, placing 6th. Miner will participate again in the Spanish Championship in Baqueira Beret on March 8th and 9th.
MUND WITH PROJECT "SUDAMERICA A PEDAL"
"SUDAMERICA A PEDAL"is the project of a group of Ecuadorian cycling young people who consists of crossing approximately 6,000 km in bicycle, from Quito (Ecuador) to Mendoza (Argentina), crossing beaches, the Ecuadorian deserts, the Peruvian Andes, the Bolivian plateau and the colonial cities of the Argentine mountain range, during approximately four months (from January 2008). Last Summer, a group of firemen of Galicia participated in an humanitarian project the Pakistani town of Hushé. The firemen were equipped with MUND socks with the models Teide, Himalaya and K2.
